Issue/Introduction

You are installing Release 15.0 and displayed the solution downloads for CCS 15.0 and got over 500, some dating all the way back to 2006.

What is the proper way to retrieve the needed PTFs for release 15.0 & all HOLDDATA.

Cause

 

  

Resolution

• Limit the maintenance to just that for r15.0 by defining "start" date
  • CCS r15.0 went GA in January 2019 
  • Use calendar to the right of the search box
  • Use date of 01/01/2019 
  • Will eliminate old LEGACY maintenance  
• Once date entered you can
  • Download all listed maintenance into a zip file
    • Before downloading, scan thru maintenance and skip any unneeded maintenance 
  • Download and unzip downloaded maintenance
  • Look for any HOLDDATA for maintenance
    • The fix and any holddata appears twice
      • Fix# itself as binary file
        • Fix#.BIN
      • HOLDDATA as text file
        • Fix.#.HOLDDATA.DTA.TXT  .
