Issue/Introduction

IP address change for the following hosts on July 29, 2021:

• notify.bluecoat.com
• www.cfauth.com
• appliance.bluecoat.com

Resolution

The Symantec Enterprise Division of Broadcom is migrating some of its services, causing their IP addresses to change.  Services hosted on the following hostnames will migrate on  July 29, 2021.

• notify.bluecoat.com
• www.cfauth.com
• appliance.bluecoat.com

The services provided by these hosts and the associated hostnames will remain completely unchanged.  Only the IP address associated with these hosts are changing, as follows:

New IP address:  34.117.186.24

If your network access control policy is based on hostname or URL categorization, no action is required.  However, if you have access control rules which reference the old IP address listed here, please make the necessary changes to your network to allow your affected products to reach the new IP address before the date to be announced.
