Issue/Introduction

CICS 5.5 region abended with S0C1 abend in IN72SERV

+DFHAP0001 DCICS01 An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred at offset X'FFFFFFFF' in module IN72SERV.

Resolution

Cause of the abend you encountered is the Intertest ISER transaction is being purged by some one or  by TMOM. (see the message below). The Intertest ISER transaction should never be purged.  The ISER transaction is the  Intertest service transaction and runs for the life of Intertest in the CICS region and allows Intertest to function in the CICS environment.
