When starting CA Identity Suite vApp reports very little or no free space on the root partition.
After that vApp goes down, not allowing to connect to it using SSH, which prevents issuing addDisk command to extend disk space.
Release : 14.x
Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)
CA Identity Suite vApp version 14.4 allows to boot into a single user mode, which lets access on the console.
However, versions 14.3 and earlier do not have such boot option. In such case the only way would be to boot Linux from a CD, mount vApp drive and do necessary clean up.
Likely it's a huge amount of logs that consume a lot of space and can be removed.
After that vApp can be booted normally to add extra space.
