SystemEDGE 5.9 Memory Leak on AIX when process monitors are configured

 

Environment

Release : 12.9

Cause

Memory Leak

Resolution

1. Stop SystemEDGE (./sysedgectl stop).

2. Rename sysedge binary located under /opt/CA/SystemEDGE/bin to sysedge.org.

3. Copy in new sysedge binary attached below.

4. Change sysedge binary permissions (chmod 755 sysedge).

5. Start SystemEDGE (./sysedgectl start).

 

Additional Information

The sysedge.log will print version CA SystemEDGE (Version 5.9.0 Build 21088) after patch is applied.
