Issue/Introduction

Does etrust /Access Control/ PIM endpoint support Linux VM with in a docker container OR can PIM endpoint be installed in a container directly?

We currently are running a VM with a docker container that is running cagent.
Will eTrust be installed on the VM or on the container, and if so, is there a way we can include this as part of building either the VM or the Container?

Environment

Release : 12.8 SP1 all versions

Component : CA ACCESS CONTROL

Resolution

The current releases of R12.8 SP1 endpoint are not certified to be deployed in Linux VM as docker containers.

This can be a product enhancement request for the new releases of the endpoint application.
