Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to OPS/MVS 13.5, we are now employing the USSUIM to send alerts.  As documented we have many many routines which perform a ADDRESS USS WTO.  

Is there anyway, where we can set a severity of this message within the existing ADDRESS USS WTO?.

Resolution

The SEVERITY parameter can be used with the ADDRESS USS WTO command so long as the release level of Common Services being used is R14.1 or previous.

As of Common Services R15.0, the Event Manager was deprecated, and a change had to be made to OPS/MVS. 

For customers running R15.0 or subsequent releases of Common Services, the SEVERITY parameter can only be used with an ADDRESS USS UIMEVENT command: 

    ADDRESS USS UIMEVENT ACTION(WTO) TEXT(any-text) SEVERITY(x)
