SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Can Sysview for Db2 (IDB2) monitor DB2 lock information?  Specifically on what job and or transaction is holding the lock and its length plus the data impacted.  

 

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : CA SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Resolution

It is IFCID149 LOCK-HOLDERS that will provide this information (LOCK-HOLDERS records lock information, such as threads that hold locks on a resource and 
threads that are waiting for locks on a resource to be released, for a given resource.)
