Issue/Introduction

Trying to do the following test with  the new SECURITYSCOPE parameter in OPSMVS 14.0 MSF :

- set it t to 'REMOTE' value in Local OPSMVS 14.0 System

- send an update parameter and table command on a Remote OPSMVS V13.5 System in the MSF Plex

The result is that all works on the Remote 13.5 Environment, although the Local 14.0 Environment it's protected by security rules.

Is this the right behavior?

Resolution

Basically in OPSMVS 14.0 when a command is sent to another System of the MSF config for execution, the SECURITYSCOPE setting is included. 

OPSMVS 13.5 is unaware of the setting and operates as it always did.

This means that both Originating and Target Systems of the MSF test, must be 14.0 to verify a valid behavior.

Note that the setting of SECURITYSCOPE of the ORIGINATING System is used on the Target System.
