Can changing the password in CA WA ESP cause an issue with running agent wobs?

Release : 11.4 & 12.0

Resolution

Changing the PASSWORD on ESP page mode will not have any adverse effect on the NT_JOBs that are already running while the page mode command PASSWORD is being issued.

The user/password is used ONLY when agent submits the JOB to the Windows system.

If there is a time difference between the password change on ESP thru PASSWORD command and on the Wintel system, it's possible that a NEW NT_JOB may fail with logon error and needs to be resubmitted.
