Issue/Introduction

What does “Requests issued by monitors are not routed through the proxy” under HTTP Proxy means ?

By default, the HTTP proxy is only used for internal communication between the OPMS and the ASM backend (API, on-premise tunnel).

 

If you create any monitor that performs HTTP requests, and run it on the given OPMS, requests will not use the proxy as configured on the Guide. 

To route requests from a monitor through this proxy, you need to enable the option 'Use system proxy' in monitor advanced settings.
