Startup of Sysview for Db2 (IDB2) Data Collector Fails due to missing .SOURCE members

Issue/Introduction

Startup of IDB2 data collectors are failing due to missing .SOURCE members APPLS and ssidSYSP.  The IDB2 post-install jobs(IDB2SYS, ssid0550) have been run.  How to correct this problem?

Component : CA SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Cause

A problem with the migration of the IDB2 .SOURCE  library from one environment to another. How the members became missing is unknown.

Resolution

The problem of the missing .SOURCE members was corrected by re-running the ssid0550 IDB2 post install job that adds specific members for the ssid to the .SOURCE library.    Once the APPLS and ssidSYSP members were added to the .SOURCE library the DC's could start.
