CA Workload Automation AE - System Agent (AutoSys)

Issue/Introduction

We had an 11.3.5 client and agent on machine X.

We added a new agent, version 11.4.x from the autosys 11.3.6 server media.

Now chk_auto_up is failing.

$ chk_auto_up
Could not load program chk_auto_up:

Environment

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

If one attempts to upgrade an agent or install a new agent from the AE server media it will update some AutoSys libraries for the purposes of blob support and autoping -s response needs.
That would then cause problems for any lesser clients.
You need to have one consistent version of the product on the host.
