"Error 102: [PERF-1013] Cannot fetch the configuration data from the repository" attempting to configure a Knowledge Agent.

Issue/Introduction

Description:

When I attempt to configure a knowledge agent, I get the following error, " Error 102: [PERF-1013] Cannot fetch the configuration data from the repository". What is the cause of this error and how to do I resolve it?

Solution:

This error typically occur when there are duplicate entries for a Host in the MDB(repository) table. Please confirm the following:

1. In the DCC console, select DCC Configuration-->Host Management. Verify if there is more than one entry for the host.
   
   
2. If there is more than one entry for this host, then the host will have to be removed from the MDB tables. The three MDB tables are MIT_HOST,MIT_PRODUCT, and MIT_SERVER.
   
   
3. One the duplicate entry for the host is removed, recycle the console tree and retry the knowledge agent configuration.
