"The origin server did not find a current representation ..." when trying to access the OneClick Web Page

Issue/Introduction

When trying to access the OneClick Web Page, you see the following error in the browser:

HTTP Status 404 – Not Found
Type Status Report

Message: /spectrum

Description: The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.

When checking the Tomcat log file, you may also see the below error during the Tomcat startup process:

"Context [/spectrum] startup failed due to previous errors"

Environment

Release : 20.2.x

Component : Spectrum OneClick

Resolution

This is likely due to a syntax error or corrupted <SPECROOT>/tomcat/webapps/spectrum/WEB-INF/web.xml.

A working file can be copied to this OneClick server machine, then a Tomcat restart should resolve this issue.
