Issue/Introduction

Can OPEN SSH be used to pass password change commands to Top Secret to manage account?

The CyberArk uses SSH to interface with RACF at other shops.

Component : CA LDAP Server

Resolution

'tsocmd' can be run from USS to list or update acids in Top Secret.

Example:

To replace a password after connecting with SSH:

 

tsocmd "tss replace(user) pass(newpass)"

 

The user using SSH MUST have:

1. The proper TSS administrator privileges to execute the command.

2. A valid OMVS segment.
