Unable To Extract or Slice Historic Data

Issue/Introduction

We are unable to extract the timesheet data from 3 years ago because the time slice ids only contains data going back to last year.
The action to reslice or reconfigure the time slices to go back 3 years, is not an option.

Environment

Release : 15.9.1

 

Resolution

Create a custom time slice with an initial rollover.
After the data is generated, change the rollover to 'None'.

Additional Information

If there is a need to include data in the DWH database, the only option is to reslice an ID that is a DWH time slice.

For example, if time entries data is needed, 

Run the following jobs in order to populate the DWH for reporting.
1. Time Slicing
2. Full Load DWH
