Issue/Introduction

When attempting to connect to the AWI with https, depending upon the browser, an error might be displayed like:

Internet Explorer
This page can't be displayed

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://[web server address] again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.

Internet Explorer (second message)

Can't connect securely to this page

This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.

Firefox:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to [web server address]:8080. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
