What is the cause of message LAE0011I when executing CA Log Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS (PLA) DML Activity Report?:

LAE0011I Unable to map or display log data. Data will be shown in dump format.

 

Answer:

The LAE0011I message is returned when un-displayable characters are printed in the DML Activity Report output. In this situation DB2 catalog tables were reported against due to the CATALOG (INCLUDE) option being specified which triggered the LAE0011I message.

The dump can be disabled via the PLA PROFILE option:

Dump Non-Display Data ==> N ( Y,N )
