Issue/Introduction

Why when I select SNMP in the Operator Console, only some devices show interfaces?

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - Operator Console

Resolution

This information can be populated a few different ways.

-devices discovered by the snmpcollector probe
-devices discovered with a discovery agent that is set to use an snmp profile
-devices discovered via the nfa_inventory probe

Additional Information

In the case of the second point (devices discovered with a discovery agent that is set to use an snmp profile), the interfaces will show and it will appear with the graphs all at 0. This is because you will only graph data if either the snmpcollector or the nfa_inventory probe are configured for the device and to collect interface metrics.
