Issue/Introduction

Perle System Limited Moti devices show enhanced certified but not getting performance metrics. System Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1966.12

Cause

Based on the screenshot below, you have customized the Model Type associated with System Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1966.12, because in the Author column you have Custom.

And if you go to the https://netops-certification.broadcom.com/vendors(default-header:vendors) and download the FAULT SPREEDSHEET and search into it, you will not find the System Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1966.12.

Hence the Device with System Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1966.12 is not certified. You actually performed the self-certification, that is the reason you see the Support Level as Enhanced.

Out Of the Box (OOB), when you discover/model the device in question, you will have the following the in Device Certification wizard:

And OOB you have the following in the DX NetOps Spectrum Modeling Information:

The device's walk (sapwalk2) does not have the HOST-RESOURCES-MIB (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.25). That is the reason the Performance TAB is greyed out.

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : Spectrum Modeling

Resolution

If the CPU and Memory information is located in a different MIB, you can normalize the CPU and Memory attributes by following this section of the Spectrum guide:
