Issue/Introduction

Say a customer has ldapattrib1, ldapatrrib2, ...... ldapattribn on their users on LDAP, how many such can we pull here ?

 

2) Is there a length limit on the value of those attributes ?

Cause

Engineering went through the code review and found that, we cannot add a custom EEM LDAP attribute.  This turns out to be a restriction.

Resolution

If you click on Add attribute on the LDAP Attribute Mapping screen,  you are not allowed to type a custom name for the User Attribute section.  Its a dropdown and you can only select from a list of EEM User attributes.   You can map an existing EEM User attribute there to a custom LDAP attribute,  but the current release (and all past releases) restrict you from creating your own EEM User attribute there.

They have also clarified that this would be an enhancement/Idea if this were to be considered for future release or so.
