The goal is to fetch reports for connections made to the ProxySG port.
Example: Port 8080
By default, access logs do not write Proxy-Port information. However, we can configure a custom log format which is an S-port
- Add 's-port ' to the access log format, Once the new format is saved, ProxySG will start recording proxy port information in access logs.
Note: this will not be applied to any old access logs, only new access logs will have information. The Proxy will then forward these logs to the configured Reporter.
To check valid ELFF and CPL substitutions for ELFF log formats click ProxySG Log Fields and Substitutions
- In Reporter, you need to configure a custom log field for ' s-port '
Once you reload the database, the Reporter will start recording new custom log fields in this database. Custom Log Field can also be added to the Full Log Detail report.
After some time, once access logs with the new format are reported, you can also create custom reports for the proxy port.
