Issue/Introduction

We have JAVA Tomcat agent installed onto one of our application's test and production servers. In test it is working as per the expectation but in production I don't see the frontends folder coming up even after running some tests.

Even though there were Automatic entry points, I could see frontends in Test server but in production frontends are not coming up.

When a transaction trace session is started, it is not capturing the Frontend traces.

The application being hosted is an off the shelf application SONARQUBE

Resolution

Customer reconfigured the monitored application so that the connection was made to web engine of the application not the backend engine so that all front ends were then detected and presented in APM
