Issue/Introduction

Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) 15.5
DLP Endpoint Prevent agent 15.5 MP1

Files containing sensitive data are being transmitted after 3-4 blocked attempts.
This started after upgrading Chrome to version 85.
There is no change in channel or file, but after stopping the same file for few times, the file is uploaded.

The files are added as attachments to emails.

Release : Servers: 15.5.0.17018
Endpoints: Win10 running 15.5.0100.1086
Google Chrome 85.0.4183.102.

Resolution

Support for Chrome 85 was added in 15.5 MP2.
Upgraded the agents from 15.5 MP1 to the latest 15.5 MP2 hotfix version.
