Netmaster missing resource history data after upgrade to 12.2

Issue/Introduction

Netmaster was just upgraded from 12.1 to 12.2 on 3 LPARs. When looking at the resource monitor, all available data is from after the upgrade; all historical and prior performance data is missing. What are we missing?

Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Cause

Data was not migrated correctly

Resolution

During region setup using the Install Utility, a panel allows selection of data to be migrated from 12.1 to 12.2.

All  performance and growth tracker (history) data is stored in the hlq.MSDB.

If the MSDB was not migrated, that data will be missing.

Check the region.JCL and review the  S06MIGRT job.
If this was not migrated, or the wrong file was used as input, you can modify the job to migrate just that one file.

Please be aware that there may be some gaps or oddities in certain values if time has elapsed between the upgrade and when the file is migrated.
