Issue/Introduction

In Data Center Security Linux Agent 6.7.2, 6.7.3 and 6.8.0, the Linux repository URL is:

s3.amazonaws.com/repo.sdcss.symantec.com  

This URL has been updated, starting with Data Center Security Linux Agent 6.8 MP1 and above. 

You will need to update the repository URL for all Linux agents below 6.8 MP1 in order to download the agent KMOD via the repository.

Resolution

This URL is already set to the new URL starting with Data Center Security Linux Agent 6.8 MP1. 

For older agents you will need to change the repo setting to:

linux-repo.us.securitycloud.symantec.com

File Location:
/etc/yum.repos.d/sdcss.repo

Setting to change:
baseurl

Example:
baseurl=https://linux-repo.us.securitycloud.symantec.com/DCS_6.7MP2/sles11/$basearch

This will have to be done on each agent if you are downloading the KMODs directly from the repository.
