CA View - Want to Assign Tape Aliases

Issue/Introduction

The client has View tape datasets that are connected to the master catalog in the system.

They want to create an alias for the tapes, and move those datasets under the alias, using the procedure:

1- Close CA- View

2-OBKP datasets uncatalog

3-Create OBKP alias

4-OBKP Datasets catalog

Resolution

With the closing of all View and any related Deliver tasks that affect the View database(s) in question; the uncataloging, assigning aliases, and recataloging of tapes will work fine.
