CA View - View Backups Run with S878 and S80A Errors

Issue/Introduction

The SARSTC task fails frequently, and the View database shows 88% utilization.

Resolution

The database was filling up because a successful View backup needed to be run.

As S878 and S80A errors normally indicate that there is not enough REGION allocated to the task, it was suggested that the client add a REGION=128M to their SARSTC EXEC statement. 

With the increase in REGION, the client was able to run View backups with no problem, and as a result, the database usage percentage stabilized.
