Need userid and password for C:D monitoring stored in Netmaster

Issue/Introduction

We are upgrading from 12.1 to 12.2 and need to determine the userid and password that were entered for Connect:Direct statistics monitoring.

Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster File Transfer Management

Resolution

The Connect:Direct userid and password are maintained in the CDAPI parameter group in /PARMS (=A.C.P).
The password does not appear in the screen for security reasons.
Similarly, both the userid and password are encrypted in the INIFILE.

The INIFILE contains the complete content from /PARMS as a text file in the TESTEXEC.

Using the INIFILE to migrate from 12.1 to 12.2 allows retention of the userid and password values without having to know what they are.
