Issue/Introduction

How to set-up Web Viewer to use EAS (expanded Access Server) to browse reports on tape without recalling them.

Resolution

You don’t set up Web Viewer to use EAS – you set up CA View to use EAS.  For guidance on setting up CA View with EAS we suggest you contact the CA View team. Once EAS has been set up in CA View, an administrator can go into Manage Repositories in Web Viewer and set the repository to EAS. This tells Web Viewer that the CA View repository is set up with EAS.
Note that you can go into Manage Repositories and set the repository to EAS at any time – but if it’s not set up in CA View then it’s not going to work.
