Issue/Introduction

Description:

After install of CA IDEAL r14 and CA IPC r14, IDLX gives the following errors:

+IDADIDIN93D - INTERR: IDEAL INSTALLATION ERROR.
+IDADIDIN92D - IDEAL REQUIRES PNL RELEASE 110 , FOUND RELEASE "140 "

Solution:

This indicates that you are picking up the CA IPC r14 panels from IPC 14.0 ADRPNL/ADRLIB but using the CA IPC r11 SC00OPTS module. To verify, in CICS enter DBUT M=SC00OPTS or in CA IDEAL, issue the command @I$SCF PGM=SC00OPTS to check the module. You should see SC0014*. If you see anything other than SC0014*, review the IPC 14.0 CAVQSAMP member (VQCUS01) and make sure you are specified the IPC 14.0 CAVQMAC library in there for the assembly.
