Eclipse Plugin - Error writing SCL to Package

Issue/Introduction

Using Endevor Eclipse based UI.   When selecting 'To Package' on an element writing the SCL to the package fails.

Process..... 

1. created a package (SCL file created ok).
2. Assigned package to project....ok
3. 'To Package' on an element just ends abruptly and looking at 'CA Endevor SCM Log' view shows the following error.

 

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 18.1

Component : ENDEVOR ECLIPSE PLUGIN 18.1.8

Resolution

Apply com.ca.endevor.p2repo-18.1.8-SNAPSHOT.zip (hotfix to Eclipse UI plugin 18.1.7).  

Or 

Upgrade to Eclipse UI plugin 18.1.8 (available by the end of April, 2021).
