Issue/Introduction

When adding a new CA PAM node to an existing cluster setup, at times after adding the new node to the cluster successfully while listing the devices and looking at the access tab the following message is encountered.

Error: PAM-CM-0039: Unable to perform the operation. Please contact System Administrator.

 

Environment

Release: 3.3.x

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Cause

This is caused because few files are not copied over from the Primary node of the cluster to the newly added node.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please open a case for a support engineer to manually copy the files over to the problem node and reference this KB.
