Client Automation - SD job fails with Exit code 14 indicates possible error [SDM228001]

Issue/Introduction

A SD job which executes a dmscript is failing with error :

Exit code 14 indicates possible error [SDM228001]

 

In SD Job output there is this messge : 

"Cannot open the script file: <scriptname>

 

Environment

Client Automation - All Versions.

 

Cause

dmscript.exe interpreter is returning an exit code 14 if it could not find the dms script.

 

Resolution

If target machine is Unix/Linux machines, make sure that subpath which is set in the SD Procedure properties, is correct and has the same lower/UpperCase character as directory name is case sensitive in Unix/Linux.

 

Example :

In below example, test.dms is in directory DIR1 but in properties of test procedure subpath has been set to dir1. It is not correct and should be updated to DIR1
