Issue/Introduction
Support has asked that I run Remote Engineer on my NFA server on a Windows OS. What are the steps that I need to take.
Navigate to the NFA Remote Engineer folder <InstallationFolder>\NFA\Tools\RemoteEngineer
Double-click on the RemoteEngineer application in the folder. After several seconds, the following window will open
In the "Select a CA product" dropdown, find the NFA version you have installed. For example:
Then click "Run Diagnostics"
The Remote Engineer tool will then run through many steps and commands gathering the important information. You can ignore any ERROR findings listed as it prepares the .zip file.
When complete, the tool lists the location of the saved results file. Click on the "Open Folder" to see the file and upload it to the case:
