Symantec EDR Network Proxy rejected due to invalid credentials

Issue/Introduction

While connecting the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) appliance with a Network Proxy proxy, it shows this error message

but on the other hand, the proxy doesn't require authentification.

Symantec is investigating at this time. 

 

Suggested triage steps:

1. At the CLI, type:
   status_check
   
   
2. When prompted, provide proxy credentials. The status_check command will check connections to multiple BROADCOM side servers which provide content or services to EDR appliance.
