Create new row (+) not expected for sub-objects of custom investments

Issue/Introduction

Clarity end-users with custom investment view access can see the create button on a sub-object. The same can be reproduced with all sub-objects created under master objects like Project, custom master objects , etc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Clarity UX > Create a custom investment
2. Classic PPM administration > Create a end user with “Custom Investment - navigate" and "Custom Investment - view all" access rights
3. Classic PPM Administration > Studio > Create a sub-object for the custom investment
4. Edit the custom investment blueprint and add the sub-object as a module
5. Access an instance of the custom investment, Click on '+' icon to add new row.

 

Expect result: End users shouldn’t ideally see the ‘+’ button as they don’t have create access

Actual result: End users click on ‘+’ but receive an error message when the system tries to create the new row.

API-1007 : You are not authorized to process request. Contact your system administrator for necessary security rights.

This was reported as product Defect DE60316, the Defect was later concluded as working as designed and captured as a product enhancement request. The feature would be included in future development sprints as per the regular prioritisation process.
