Getting Error 1053 when starting Autosys App Service

Issue/Introduction

Getting Error 1053 when starting Autosys App Service. We have rebooted the server and issue still persists.

 

 

Environment

WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER

Resolution

We looked at the windows event logs and did not see anything other than the 1053 error about being unable to start the service.
We opened an autosys command window, cd %AUTOSYS%/bin, as_server.exe -A PRD 
This displayed the error it could not access %AUTOUSER%/config.PRD
We checked and the file had a double extension on it, meaning it was config.PRD.PRD
So the error was accurate.
We renamed the file to be just config.PRD and then we were able to restart the as_server.
