Issue/Introduction

When activating a task from a workflow that exists multiple times that has a Host/Agent group in 'Next listed' mode, instead of each instance being assigned to a different agent, all jobs are being assigned to the same agent.

Cause

Timing issue and improper select statements within Automic

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

This behavior has been fixed with the following:

12.3.5 HF4
12.3.6
21.0.0

Potential workarounds:

- Changing hostgroups from 'Next' to 'Any'
- Generate at activation instead of generate at runtime on affected JOBS
- Max parallel of 1 (or 999) where applicable
- Limitation of a queue JOBS run in to only allow 1 unique run per time.
