Issue/Introduction

DE60272 Autosave performance issue on Task Flyout, intermittently results are not saved

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. On large dataset (MSSQL)
2. Create a Large String attribute "Additional Resources" on Task object and put it in the view
3. Go to Modern UX
4. Open a large Template project with many tasks
5. Ensure the field is added to Flyout
6. Now go by the list of Tasks, open each, and fill a value quickly. I.e. Bla
7. Click away and move to the next task
8. Repeat for 10-20 tasks in a row, in a fast manner
9. Now go back and check each Task

Expected Results: The values for the field to be saved

Actual Results: Some of the values are not saved and the field is empty

Environment

Release : 15.8.1, 15.9.0 15.9.1

Cause

This is caused by DE60272

Resolution

This is fixed in 15.9.2

Additional Information

This is also reproducible in large Oracle datasets. The problem lies within the API calls.
