Issue/Introduction

is there a way to enable value required for "Security OBS" field for a custom investment type? I cannot change this value as it displays as grey when I go to view it in object studio for my custom investment type. However, the business would like it to be required, as we have users who's security to certain custom investment types is based off of OBS. And right now the field itself is not required and I can't find a way to make it required on the blueprint.

Component : CA PPM USERS, GROUPS, OBS ADMINISTRATION

Resolution

This is working as designed currently where there is no way to make an OBS as required attribute in the Custom Investment.

Potential Workaround: Starting from 15.9.1 custom investments are available to be used in processes so it's possible to come up with some sort of custom solution where OBS is getting updated behind the scene by the process based on certain condition.
