Cause

The client PC is unable to reach the Automation Engine (master) using the IP/hostname values seen in the error "Unable to load resource: http://<ip/hostname>:5050/APPWPROD/Client.jnlp" and "java.net.UnknownHostException: <ip/hostname>"

Environment

Release : 9.2

Component : APPLICATIONS MANAGER

Resolution

Please refer to the OS/Network admin as this issue is likely a DNS issue where the client PC is unable to reach the master using the IP/hostname value seen in error.

A possible solution is to edit the hosts file and add an entry for the IP and hostname value. Please refer to OS/Network admin for more information.
