Unable to add Product updates to Distribution Servers

Issue/Introduction

Trying to add product > updates to a distribution server (the default). When I click OK, I get an error stating it failed. In the log, I have these SQL errors: org.hibernate.StaleObjectStateException ] Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or unsaved-value mapping was incorrect) : [com.symantec.lua.mdl.server.ProductionServerGroup#1] org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: insert or update on table "baseselection" violates foreign key constraint "fkbcf7d59bf04b758c" Detail: Key (pointproduct_id)=(15) is not present in table "pointproduct".

Environment

Release : 14.2.2_MP1

Cause

SQL was in a bad state.

Resolution

Suspected SQL was in a bad state. Rebooting the server resolved the issue. We were able to add product updates to the server after the reboot.
