Data Collector Polling Status Data Catching Up

CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration DX NetOps


We have DX NetOps 20.2.5, Data Aggregator with two data collectors.  Everything seems to appear normal, but both data collectors show a Polling Status of "Data Catching Up".  I'm trying to determine the significance of that, please advise

The DC status 'Data Catching Up' is new with 20.2.x.  It means there is pending data on the DC.  You may see that status for a period of time after a DA restart.  You could also see if with a prolonged network disconnect between DC and DA, or if there are memory issues on the DA as well.
