Aion Windows 10 install error message WINDOWS ERROR 2

Issue/Introduction

Installing Aion on Windows 10, having error messages similar to this:

CLICKING SETUP.EXE (DISK1/INSTDATA/NOVM), WE GET THE ERROR MESSAGE "WINDOWS ERROR 2 OCCURED WHILE LOADING THE JAVA VM". 

Environment

Windows 10 environment

Aion release 11.0

Resolution

For a Windows 10 environment the following is recommended

Aion release 11 Build 127

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security update

Aion can only use the JAVA 32 bit libraries. Do not use the JAVA 64 bit libraries

The simple cookbook approach is this after unzipping the package:

Your file named MED500000000000585

In that folder is a new folder called InstData.

In that folder you will have the zipped load files called Resource1 and a properties file. The folder called NoVM can then be clicked on.

In this file is a Setup executable. Click on this and allow updates to your computer.

If all the Java files and C++ files are on the system then the install should go well.
