Top Secret TSSMAIND and receiving U1520 abend

Issue/Introduction

When trying to copy data from the old secfile to the new one, we receive the following message,

TSSMAIND and got U1520 abend

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

For the U1520

The VSAMFILE FILE ALREADY INITIALIZED is issued when TSSMAINS been run more  than once (unsuccessfully or successfully) using the same VSAMFILE DD dataset.

 You can only run TSSMAINS once using the same VSAMFILE DD dataset.
 If there is a need to run it again, you must delete the VSAMFILE dataset
 and recreate it before running TSSMAINS again.
