Location of the session recording key in a cluster

Issue/Introduction

When a PAM cluster is established, the session recordings should be available from all nodes. However, it is still a question where the session recording key is stored and how and if it gets replicated to the other nodes.

Environment

CA Privileged Access Manager, several versions

Resolution

The Session Recording key for a cluster, which will allow viewing any session recording from any node is kept in the database and replicated across the different nodes

If you are experiencing problems viewing session recordings from all nodes once a cluster has been started it may be a problem of this session recording key not being properly replicated across. Please contact Broadcom Support for extended troubleshooting
