DX Platform - Unable to login after DX installation due to dxi-platform-init-pod errors

Issue/Introduction

DX Platform installation completed successfully but I am unable to log in, while checking the init pods logs, I see dxi-platform-init-pod is reporting some errors and failures:

kubectl logs <dxi-platform-init-pod> -n<dxi>
..
[ *** RESULTS *** ]

1.reset.masteradmin.password.sh -> FAILED   
2.create.ga.account.sh -> FAILED
3.apm.onboard.sh -> OK     

 

How can I rerun the dxi-platform-init-pod job?

Environment

DX Operational Intelligence 20.2
DX Application Performance Management 20.2
DX AXA 20.2

Resolution

You can rerun the dxi-platform-init-pod process as below:

kubectl delete po dxi-platform-init-pod -n<your-namespace>
cd /<dx-installer-HOME>/files/meta.import/
kubectl apply -f core-init-pod.yml
kubectl logs dxi-platform-init-pod -n<your-namespace>

Example:

kubectl delete po dxi-platform-init-pod -ndxi
cd /dx-installer/files/meta.import/
kubectl apply -f core-init-pod.yml
kubectl logs dxi-platform-init-pod -ndxi

 

NOTE: dxi-platform-init-pod execute scripts under <dx-installer-HOME>/post_install
