Does Spectrum support SPM tests for Cisco Nexus Devices?

Issue/Introduction

We would like to know if Spectrum supports SPM tests for Cisco Nexus devices?

When we setup SPM tests on Cisco Nexus devices, the tests are always being marked as failed or timeout.

Cause

SPM Tests are not being processed in Spectrum because the value 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.1.7.1.1 (rttMonApplSupportedRttTypesEntry)  is set to 0 which is saying that this RTM test host does not support any SPM tests.

Resolution

Spectrum supports the Cisco-RttMon-Mib for SPM tests and reads the values from this mib.  SPM Tests are not being processed in Spectrum for Cisco Nexus because the value 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.1.7.1.1 (rttMonApplSupportedRttTypesEntry)  is set to 0 which is the number of SPM tests that this device should support.

The vendor should populate this value correctly with the correct number of SPM tests that the Cisco Nexus devices support.
